I started Humaera because I kept seeing the same costly mistake across fast-growing startups: HR enters too late. Too often, people operations only become a focus once a company has already reached 50 or 60 employees — when the first cracks are already visible. Processes are missing, responsibilities are unclear, employees are frustrated, and the business is relying on operational habits that were never built to scale. By that point, fixing the foundation is hard. The old ways of working — even when they no longer serve the company — are already deeply established. Teams are overwhelmed by daily operational tasks, and there's little capacity left to design better structures. I've seen this firsthand while working in multiple startups, often as the first HR hire, responsible for building people operations from scratch. That experience showed me one thing very clearly: The best time to build scalable HR is not when things break — it's before they do. That's why I founded Humaera. With 8+ years of experience across HR operations, recruiting, and payroll, and 4 years building HR structures in startup environments, I help founders implement lean, automated, and scalable people systems from day one. Humaera is designed to prevent complexity before it becomes expensive — by creating clean processes early, reducing operational overhead, and building HR foundations that can scale naturally with company growth.
